Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life.” Solomon, ancient King of Israel.

“If you don’t learn to control your thoughts, you will never learn how to control your behavior.” Joyce Meyer

“You are transformed into a new person by changing the way you think.” Kenneth Acha, MD

“A man is but the product of his thoughts what he thinks, he becomes.” Mahatma Ghandi

Our lives are shaped by our thoughts. Even though the quotes above were spoken thousands of years ago, they are true today. There is huge evidence in scientific literature that supports this amazing truth.

The brain is by far the most powerful organ in a human body. It controls the entire body. Research has shown that because of the phenomenon called neuroplasticity, the way we think changes our brain structure. Our thinking creates new neuropathways.  We can literally think ourselves to death or think ourselves to life. The choice is always ours.

Our thoughts shape our words, actions, and feelings. If we want to change the way we feel, we need to change the way we think. Also, beginning to do the right things together with right thinking habits changes the way we feel.

Listen to what a famous teacher once said, “Your thoughts don’t have to be true to hurt you; you just have to believe them. If you tell yourself your marriage won’t last, then it won’t. If you’re afraid you can’t do something, then you won’t. Your thoughts run your life! Your circumstances may be out of your control, but God is in control of everything. Your thoughts shape who you are, but you can change the way you think. Your circumstances and consciousness have shaped who you are, but the way you respond to your circumstances and the thoughts you choose to believe will shape the rest of your life.

That’s why the only way to transform your life is to change the way you think. When that happens, what you say, what you do, and how you feel will automatically change as well–completing the transformation. But without changing our thinking, we cannot experience transformation and the good life we desire.

Change your thoughts and you change your world.” – Norman Vincent Peale

Want to transform your life? Then renew your mind!

We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think.

How do you renew your mind?

By intentionally meditating or thinking about things that are good, that are positive, that are helpful, that build you and others up. You change your mindset or paradigm by taking intentional steps. It doesn’t simply happen by chance.

To enjoy an abundant life, you must shift your paradigm or mindset from one that brings death to the one that brings life. This is so crucial because your paradigm is the set of glasses or lenses through which you see the world. If you don’t change them; if you don’t renew your mind, the transformation you seek will never happen.

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Solomon, ancient king of Israel
